To create a new Off-Network linear asset:

1. Click the Start Spatial Edits button, select the layer you will be adding an asset to, and click Start Spatial Edits.
2. Click the Create Asset button .
3. Create the new asset by clicking on a location to define the start point of the line asset. Drag to draw the line. You can click to place vertices. Double-click to define the end point and to create the line asset.
4. The Create Asset dialog opens. Fill in the attribute data in the fields as required, then click Save to create the asset.

   

To create an Off-Network polygon asset:

1. Click the Start Spatial Edits button and select the layer you will be adding an asset to. Click Start Spatial Edits.
2. Click the Create Asset button . You will be prompted to draw the shape of the asset:
3. Create the new asset by clicking on a location to define one point of the polygon boundary. Drag to draw a line, and click to define the boundaries. When you've drawn the boundaries of the polygon asset, double-click to create the polygon asset.
4. The Create Asset dialog opens. Fill in the attribute data in the fields as required, then click Save to create the asset.
