Create Off-Network Asset
To create a new Off-Network point asset:
- Click the Start Spatial Edits button, select the layer you will be adding an asset to, and click Start Spatial Edits.
- Click the Create Asset button .
- Create the new asset by clicking on a location on the map.
- The Create Asset dialog opens. Fill in the attribute data in the fields as required, then click Save to create the asset.
To create a new Off-Network linear asset:
- Click the Start Spatial Edits button, select the layer you will be adding an asset to, and click Start Spatial Edits.
- Click the Create Asset button .
- Create the new asset by clicking on a location to define the start point of the line asset. Drag to draw the line. You can click to place vertices. Double-click to define the end point and to create the line asset.
- The Create Asset dialog opens. Fill in the attribute data in the fields as required, then click Save to create the asset.
To create an Off-Network polygon asset:
- Click the Start Spatial Edits button and select the layer you will be adding an asset to. Click Start Spatial Edits.
- Click the Create Asset button . You will be prompted to draw the shape of the asset:
- Create the new asset by clicking on a location to define one point of the polygon boundary. Drag to draw a line, and click to define the boundaries. When you've drawn the boundaries of the polygon asset, double-click to create the polygon asset.
- The Create Asset dialog opens. Fill in the attribute data in the fields as required, then click Save to create the asset.
